Terms of Service

These terms apply when you download or use Thistoo. By using the app you agree to them, together with the App Store’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement or the Google Play Terms of Service, depending on where you got it.

What Thistoo is

Thistoo is company for the boring stuff. You pick a room for what you are doing. Other people in that room show as silhouettes and cities. There is no camera, no microphone and no chat. You can hop rooms, follow someone else’s hop, put the room on a TV, and tap a one-word reaction that lasts a second.

Who can use it

• You must be 13 or older, or the age required where you live.
• Don’t harass anyone, try to identify people behind a city name, or use the app to impersonate a place or person.
• Don’t try to get around locks, the paywall, or safety limits.

No call, no chat

Thistoo is not a messaging, dating, video or voice product. Reactions are one word, shown once, then gone. We may remove abuse.

What is free

Chores, Moving and Quiet rooms, the eight reactions, Follow the mess (into free rooms) and the room radio are free. Coding, Inbox and Staring need Work. Every room, extra reactions, and following a hop into any room need Thistoo Pass.

Subscriptions

• Work is $2.99 a week or $7.99 a month. Thistoo Pass is $14.99 a month. Prices are shown in the store in your currency before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel it anytime: on iPhone in Settings, your name, then Subscriptions. On Android in Google Play, Profile, Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. For Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

There is no account. Clear this phone in Settings anytime. We cannot restore what lived only on the device. See the Privacy Policy and Delete Account.

Music

Spotify stays on your phone. Thistoo never plays your music. Connecting is optional. Still no paying to pin a song.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Thistoo on devices you own or control. Don’t copy, resell or reverse engineer the app.

No guarantee

Thistoo is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don’t promise it will be free of errors or always available. Rooms can be quiet. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Thistoo anytime by deleting the app. We may stop access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Thistoo after a change, the new terms apply.
